Robin Quivers speaks on false Howard Stern rumors
Howard Stern and Robin Quivers addressed false rumors about themselves on Monday’s The Howard Stern Show.
Stern addressed a false report from earlier in the summer claiming his co-host Robin Quivers had died, saying, “I got a call from my people that there was a report that Robin had died — obviously untrue.” He also said there is no truth to rumors of a feud feud with podcaster Alex Cooper, who signed a $125 million deal with SiriusXM in 2024, stating, “I don’t know Alex Cooper. If she is young and bubbly, God bless her because I’m the opposite.”
Robin Quivers said rumors about Stern having his own elevator entrance are false, as Stern no longer broadcasts in a public studio. Stern now broadcasts at his home.
Quivers said, “They said you had a separate entrance, an entrance to your home.”

Howard Stern’s rumored feud with Alex Cooper
The rumors about Stern’s alleged resentment toward Cooper began circulating in August 2025, fueled by her meteoric rise at SiriusXM. Cooper, 31, signed a three-year, $125 million deal in 2024 to bring Call Her Daddy to the platform, granting SiriusXM exclusive advertising and distribution rights. Her podcast, known for its candid discussions on relationships and sex, is very popular with young women. High-profile guests like Kamala Harris and Katy Perry have further elevated her profile, while Stern has an older male audience.
Reports from The U.S. Sun, National Enquirer, and Yahoo claimed Stern was “irked” by Cooper’s success, with one source stating, “It’s completely turned Howard’s world upside down. He’s been in radio 40 years, and this change has really shocked everyone”. Outlets suggested SiriusXM was “betting the house” on Cooper as the “future” of the network, positioning her as Stern’s potential successor. Some even speculated that Stern’s contract might not be renewed due to his high cost—estimated at $80–$100 million annually—and a shrinking audience, with SiriusXM reportedly stopping publication of his ratings in 2020. Stern said on Monday he is continuing negotiations with SiriusXM, and hopes to stay at his longtime home in 2026.
