Sammy Hagar’s Best of All Worlds Tour featured a few tracks from David Lee Roth’s time, such as ‘Ain’t Talkin’ ’Bout Love’ and ‘Panama.’ He mainly focusing on his era with Van Halen but Hagar discussed the limited number of Roth songs in his setlists in a new interview with Rolling Stone.

“‘Panama,’ I’ll sing that song every day of my life. It’s a great song,” he shared. “I love doing covers. In Cabo, I do Led Zeppelin all the time. I do Cream; I do The Stones. I like to play my favorite songs, and ‘Panama’ would have to be one of them.”

He was asked if he considered adding more Roth-era tracks and the singer said, “Oh, that’s enough, three, and that’s because we played so long. If we only played an hour and a half, I would just do one, and it would always be ‘Panama.’”

Hagar is joined on the tour by Van Halen bassist Michael Anthony, guitarist Joe Satriani, and drummer Kenny Aronoff now. Aronoff replaced Jason Bonham shortly after the latter left due to his mother’s health issues.

The new lineup plans to return to the stage in Las Vegas in the coming months. The singer has announced the residency last month on social media.

His words read, “We got time to rehearse instead of travel, travel, travel. We can actually play a different song every night, get deep into the catalog. Van Halen, Van Hagar, Sammy, Montrose, Chickenfoot; you name it! All of it! Two places in the world where I guarantee you’ll have a good time: Cabo San Lucas [and] Las Vegas. C’mon, are you ready? See you there.”

The Las Vegas shows will begin on April 30, 2025.
