You wouldn’t think that a mature singer with completely different persuasions when it comes to performance would be friends. It isn’t only because the two of them will be headlining the new Palm Springs arena more recently. Harry and Twain apparently share a friendship – but why. We realize that Twain has become a lot more liberal lately – is that the reason they’re friends?
According to Yahoo, Shania Twain has given insight into her surprising friendship with the young Elton John/David Bowie, Harry Styles.
The Canadian superstar, who is now 57, stunned festival goers last year when Styles, who is a mere 29, introduced her as a surprise guest during his show at the Coachella music festival. He and Twain will also be some of the first to perform at Coachella Valley’s new arena this year… Interesting…
Not only did they perform her hits Man I Feel Like A Woman and You’re Still The One, the pair also wore matching sparkly outfits and danced with each other on stage.
Speaking to Magic Radio Breakfast hosts Ronan Keating and Harriet Scott during Wednesday’s show, Twain lifted the lid on what kinds of things she and the former One Direction singer talk about in their secret friendship.
She said: “We don’t talk about fashion. We have never spoken about fashion actually. We just have you know very ‘how is your mum’, more like personal things. You know congrats on the movie, congrats on the record. Just sweet stuff like that.”
