Guns N’ Roses drummer Steven Adler discussed his 2016 reunion performances with Guns N’ Roses in a new interview with Lucas H. Gordon. Alternative Nation transcribed his comments.
“It was so great. It was really really amazing, and a dream come true, because for 25 years all I’ve been doing was praying that I’d be able to do it. I just wish I could play more songs, because I want to do more with them. It’s heartbreaking to be standing on the side of the stage and watching somebody else play my songs.
[Frank Ferrer] is great, but it’s hard for me, I would like to play a few more songs. But I’m thankful I got to do anything at all, my dream came true, but I do want to do more with them. We’ll see what they say.”
He also discussed Izzy Stradlin possibly rejoining the band.
“Izzy, I love Izzy. Izzy has to tell you, I can’t talk for Izzy (blows Izzy a kiss).”
When asked if Guns N’ Roses will reunite, he said only God can decide.
“I don’t know, it’s in God’s hands.”
