Steven Tyler attempted to play the Aerosmith classic “Hole in My Soul” last night at the MGM Springfield in Massachusetts for the first time since March 9, 1998 at the Tokyo Dome. Tyler hadn’t rehearsed the song, so he screwed up and cut it short, though it was a valiant effort. Steven Tyler revealed a massive paycheck offer yesterday.

Aerosmith wrote on Facebook, “Steven Tyler riffing with a little ‘Hole in My Soul’ during the encore 8.29.19 MGM Springfield #DeucesAreWild East Coast Run! Next stop VEGAS! Should we add this to the set? It’s been about 20 years since we’ve played it in full live.”

Jean commented, “I love them but not my favorite song at all.People have memories connected to certain songs so i say sing it because there is proably a lot of people that are wanting to here this song and will take them back memory lane.”

Heartbreaking Aerosmith car accident photos were revealed yesterday. Karryn commented, “Ha ha ha, glad I’m not the only one who screws up my own tunes. Valiant effort Steve! Love you much!!”

Sebastiaan wrote, “Yeah, it’d be nice if they’d do full band versions of all these little snippets he does before Dream On. The lack of change is why I haven’t bought tickets.”

Amanda chimed in, “I just love him! But bless his heart, did he forget the words? Or maybe he was a little weak? Didn’t sound like he hit the right cords on the piano, either.”

Josh Azevedo commented, “It’s nice to know he at least remember having that song. I really feel like, and maybe it’s more Joe, that this band doesn’t like the period of music that made them relevant again. It’s a shame, because that’s the Aerosmith I grew up on which in turn made me go back to their older catalogue of music.” Tyler unloaded on a miserable fan at a recent Aerosmith show in Atlantic City.
