Steven Tyler recently called out an unhappy fan at an Aerosmith show at the Borgata in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Alternative Nation transcribed his remarks after he took off his in-ear monitors. Jimmy Page made a gross Steven Tyler revelation a few days ago.

Tyler said, “I’m sorry, I had to take my ears out. What’s wrong with you? Are you happy? Well fucking act like it! Aw man, listen, a little smile man, it either means you just got laid, or you’re having a good time at the concert. I know, I’m surviving too. Don’t hate me for that. Don’t try to stare me down, I’ll beat you. No, no, I love you baby, I love you. I don’t give a fuck, I should have taken out my ears before, now I can fucking hear you! You’ve been hearing this all night? Fuck me!”

Joe Perry then told Tyler, “That’s why I don’t put those things in my ears, because I want to hear the here and now!” Steven Tyler let injured drummer Joey Kramer serve as a singer at a recent show.

Perry recently said on Ultimate Classic Rock Nights, “Steven and I shared an apartment for most of a year. Our basic paradigm for writing is him playing drums and me playing guitar. He’s a really inventive drummer – that’s why his singing is so percussive. It takes him that extra length of time to write lyrics because he likes to use words that sound almost like a percussive kinda thing. He would play the drums and I’d play guitar, and he’d throw some weird backbeat in there, and I’d find a note to go with it, and we’d play back and forth like that.”

He added, “We’d have a cassette player running and he would start singing along. That’s how that song [“S.O.S”] came together. We were set up in the living room with a little drum kit and a little amp, and definitely the melody and the flow for the song came out of that, that afternoon.” You can listen to Ultimate Classic Rock Nights on Monday through Friday.
