Steven Tyler and his singing was brought up during a new Rolling Stone interview with Aerosmith members Tom Hamilton and Brad Whitford. The pair were discussing the ‘Deuces Are Wild’ residency, and while Steven Tyler still sounds fantastic for his age, Whitford admitted that he’s ‘losing’ part of his vocal range. Steven Tyler grabbed the leg of a famous actress in a recent photo.

Whitford said, “That’s another great song and a great showcase for Steven and his vocal range. It’s a tougher one for him to sing these days because he’s starting to lose a little bit of that range. It’s one of my favorites, though.”

Hamilton added, “’What it Takes,’ I think, is awesome. It’s a ballad, but it’s not a schmaltzy ballad. The emotion in it is very real and it has a beautiful set of chord changes. No matter how many times you play it, you can either do it right and it takes a lot of concentration, or you can just just get out there and play and not do it well. I like to play that song to the best of my abilities. It’s a bit of a test, though.” Steven Tyler recently revealed what he would do to men who attack his daughter.

pillis said about the interview on the Aeroforce boards about the interview, “Brad sounded a bit salty, also they seem to acknowledge their age. Not good knowing they’re gonna keep on playing come together…zzzz.

I am not expecting big changes then but it would be great to change the hangman jury, season of wither, what it takes, come together and the other side spots with something else. The other tracks are all pretty much staples and they need to be there for the adrenaline and cultural impact they have during the concert.” Steven Tyler’s relative was recently stunned by tragic news.

RiffonRuts posted, “Wow, can Brad serve as president of Aerosmith for a year? Gets my vote. Love ST with all my heart but he’s not a good curator (my word of the day) of the Aerosmith catalog.”
