Hollywood Life recently interviewed Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler and asked what he really thought about American Idol following his departure from the show in 2012, and if he’d come back, and he seemed to enjoy his time on the show.
βIt depends on whoβs on with me,β he said. βI really think that Randy was β maybe people would say he was good for his time. He was great for his time. He was 10 years a leader and then he would walk out, βYo dog!β and weβd be sitting there for 8 hours, seeing kid after kid after kid β like 300 kids in Minneapolis auditioning, and youβre sitting there like, βOh hey!β Some people get dressed up in the car, as a car, other girls, red lipstick and you know. And he made the best of it of some times that werenβt so good, but would I do it? Yeah, Iβll do it.β
