The Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins shockingly passed away at the age of 50. The band had confirmed the news of his demise. Dave Grohl-fronted band was due to play on the same day of his death. They were scheduled to play at the Festival Estereo Picnic in Bogota, Colombia.

Taylor Hawkins met a fan few days before his death

Recently, a video clip is surfacing on the social media of Hawkins. The clip was filmed in South America just a day or two before Hawkins died, where he meets a young female Foo Fighters fan.

Previously, A video after his death in a hotel was also revealed. The band went on to state his passing away as well. “The Foo Fighters family is devastated by the tragic and untimely loss of our beloved Taylor Hawkins,” the band said in a statement on Twitter. “His musical spirit and infectious laughter will live on with all of us forever,” they added. His last picture that was taken before his death was also reported recently.

Taylor had been a member of the Foo Fighters for 25 years. He was recently seen in the horror-comedy film, Studio 666. Hawkins had played with the Foo Fighters one of the US’ most influential and critically-lauded alternative rock bands since 1997, providing percussion on some of the group’s biggest hits including “Learn to Fly” and “Best of You.” He previously played the drums for Canadian indie songstress Alanis Morissette.
