Ted Nugent insults Courtney Love
Over the years, Ted Nugent has been the subject of multiple allegations involving inappropriate relationships with underage girls. One of the most widely reported claims comes from Hole frontwoman Courtney Love, who has said in interviews that she had a s*xual encounter with Nugent when she was underage, at times describing herself as between 12 and 14 years old.
Now, in a new episode of his YouTube podcast, Nugent has denied Love’s allegations.
“They claimed that I had this thing with Courtney Love. Never met Courtney Love. Don’t want to meet Courtney Love. You can tell I’ve never met Courtney Love. I never needed a rabies shot and I have both of my arms,” Nugent said.
He went on to address other allegations, including the claim that in 1978, at age 29, he allegedly dated and then became the legal guardian of a 17-year-old because she was too young to marry – an accusation he has previously denied.
Calling these all “lies” spread by “dirt bags and idiots,” Nugent said:
“[They say], ‘Well, he adopted a 9-year-old to have s*x with her.’ What was her name? These people, they lie and lie. [They say], ‘He dodged the draft.’ Didn’t dodge the draft. Never adopted anybody.”
Wrapping up his comments, Nugent suggested that he is only being criticized because his spirit “irritates the demons” of those who oppose him.
It should be noted that none of these allegations against Nugent have resulted in criminal charges or a conviction.
