Ted Nugent posted today after the DOJ announced that Jeffrey Epstein did indeed die by suicide.

In a long-awaited update, the U.S. Department of Justice and the FBI released a comprehensive joint memo today concluding their review into Jeffrey Epstein’s death and the surrounding speculation. The findings confirmed that Epstein died by suicide while in federal custody in 2019, and no credible evidence was found to support the existence of a so-called “client list” involving high-profile individuals.

The investigation involved reviewing over 300 gigabytes of digital data and more than 10 hours of high-resolution surveillance footage from the Metropolitan Correctional Center in New York, where Epstein was being held. Officials stated that no one was seen entering Epstein’s cell area between 10:40 p.m. on August 9 and 6:30 a.m. on August 10, the window during which he died. This visual evidence supported previous conclusions made by the New York City medical examiner and a 2023 report by the DOJ Inspector General.

Despite years of public speculation and high-profile allegations, the DOJ confirmed that no documents or digital materials contained evidence of blackmail, extortion, or lists implicating public figures in Epstein’s criminal enterprise. As such, federal authorities stated there is no basis for reopening investigations into uncharged individuals.

The release of the memo has drawn mixed reactions. Supporters of Donald Trump, who had previously hinted through allies at the existence of a damning list, expressed frustration. Critics accused the administration of backing away from transparency. Attorney General Pam Bondi, who earlier this year claimed she had a client list on her desk, did not offer public comment following the release of the memo.

At a cabinet meeting earlier today, former President Trump appeared dismissive of the announcement when asked about the findings. “Are people still talking about Jeffrey Epstein?” he responded.

The DOJ emphasized that, due to legal constraints and the need to protect victims’ identities, the full evidence reviewed would not be made public.

Today’s announcement is expected to be the final official statement regarding Epstein’s death and his criminal case. Federal authorities indicated no further investigations are planned.
