Was it planned or was it not planned? That’s the question when it comes to Janet Jackson and Justin Timberlake’s halftime show that left many in shock as Janet’s upper private area was exposed to millions upon millions of people.

Tom Brady spoke up about this as he looked back on his historic career since he officially said he was retiring. Brady would remark about this 2004 Super Bowl and say it was one of the best victories.

As reported by Insider – At the very end of Janet Jackson and Justin Timberlake’s performance of “Rock Your Body,” the former NSYNC member ripped a piece of fabric off of Jackson’s chest and exposed her breast on live television. Brady said he “didn’t see anything,” as he recalled on an episode of his podcast, “Let’s Go.” He was too busy “thinking about the game” and “trying to figure out halftime adjustments.”

He stated: “We came off the field and that was when we had the wardrobe malfunction with Justin Timberlake and Janet Jackson. And they were asking me about that. I couldn’t even understand what they were telling me about. It took a while for us to figure out exactly what had gone on.”

Many years later, Tom Brady stated that he isn’t convinced that the incident was a bad thing. In fact, he felt that it added to the NFL.

He said: “I think in the end, it was probably a good thing for the NFL because everyone got to talk about it, and it was just more publicity and more publicity for halftime shows.”

Tom Brady would then go on to say further that it wasn’t bad to have that many eyes on his game.

He said: “Is any publicity bad publicity? That’s what they say, so, who knows?”
