Tool Member Announces Tragic Deaths: ‘Our Loss’

Tool frontman Maynard James Keenan announced the following on Twitter over the weekend.

“The world of wine and film has suffered two great loses today. #BrunoGanz #GianfrancoSoldera #casebasse #wingsofdesire Both of great influence on my path. ‘I cannot see you, but I know you’re there.’ Condolences to all.”

A fan tweeted Keenan, “Sorry for your loss…”

Keenan responded, “Our. Our loss.”

Keenan responded, “Our.”

Keenan tweeted on February 8th, “Update- Midway through mixing. Most likely be a few recalls. Then some arguing. Then Mastering, Artwork, Video, Special Packaging, etc. Best Ballpark Guess- Release date somewhere between Mid May and Mid July. More focused updates to follow as we progress. @tool #simplemath.”

Keenan sent shockwaves through the rock industry when he tweeted on January 4th, “Update- Final vocals tracked MONTHS ago. Then U.S.-UK-Euro run w #APC. If Tool all inst are tracked, long process of Mixing now. Meanwhile write/film/track w @puscifer for #puscifer2020 & troll the band FBs with wine posts. #funnyshit #whileyouwerewhiningiwasworking.”

Tool are expected to release their new album between May and July, and they are set to spring spring North American festival and tour Europe this summer behind the new album.
