New video has surfaced of Axl Rose stretching backstage at a recent Guns N’ Roses show in Cleveland, and he seems to be talking to Slash about an actress. Duff McKagan then showed up to end the video, and Axl laughed.
Ex-Guns N’ Roses guitarist Ron ‘Bumblefoot’ Thal admitted in a new LA Weekly interview that his exit from GNR wasn’t friendly, so he certainly wasn’t expecting a call when the Izzy Stradlin-less ‘Not In This Lifetime’ reunion was announced.
“If I was there, it wouldn’t be a reunion,” he says. “I would be the thing stopping it from being a reunion, and I don’t want to be that. I would be the fly in the soup. Did I think they were gonna call? No. The way things ended with us, nobody was going to be calling anybody, unfortunately.”
Ex-GNR guitarist Buckethead recently revealed on the Coming Alive podcast that he has a heart condition.
“I have a heart problem where my heart beats out of rhythm. It’s been doing it for a long time, but recently it kicked up and became really intense,” he said. “I didn’t know what was going on – I just tried to deal with it and let it do what it did. But it got really intense, so I went to the doctor and they said, ‘You’re on the verge of having a stroke.’
“They suggested I had an ablation, where they go in and freeze your heart. It’s supposed to do something with the nerves, because they said my heart was fine and it could be a genetic thing – they didn’t really know. I had that procedure and it didn’t really stop it and I’m still dealing with it.”
