Eddie Vedder and Pearl Jam fans sang happy birthday to celebrate Vedder’s mother’s birthday on Thursday.
“Today is the birthday of a woman that I really really love, it’s my Mom. April 21st. It’s Glen Hansard’s birthday. I’ll get her the tape, she’s on west coast time, so she’ll hear it before the day ends.”
Vedder than quipped, “It’ll make me look like not quite such an asshole of a son, if I can get your help. Will you sing this one for Karen Vedder?”
