Stone Temple Pilots dug up the deep cuts at their tour kickoff show in Santa Clarita, CA last night, performing the No. 4 track “Glide” live for the first time ever. They also performed the No. 4 classic “Atlanta” and Shangri-La Dee Da track “Regeneration” for the first time since 2001.

Johnny Depp joined Stone Temple Pilots onstage in Santa Clarita, CA last night to perform “Sex Type Thing” and “Kick Out The Jams.” MC5’s Wayne Kramer also took part in “Kick Out The Jams.” Depp is Robert DeLeo’s bandmate in the supergroup Hollywood Vampires, which also features Joe Perry and Alice Cooper. Depp joined STP at a recent rehearsal, and Robert DeLeo referred to him as ‘my good friend.’
