Watch Tom Hanks, George Clooney & Other A-Listers Incredible Chris Cornell Tribute Video

Christian Bale, George Clooney, Ryan Gosling, Tom Hanks, Josh Brolin, Elton John, System of a Down’s Serj Tankian, Cher, Oscar Isaac, Jennifer Lopez and Pharrell Williams appear in an incredible new Chris Cornell tribute video. Cornell himself makes a posthumous appearance saying, “Hi, I’m Chris Cornell, and I vow to keep the promise to fight for the world’s most vulnerable children.”

The video surrounds the release of Cornell’s track “The Promise” for the film of the same name, and the stars in the video vow to #KeepThePromise to help refugees in Cornell’s honor in the video. Watch below, via People.

The Promise stars Oscar Isaac and Christian Bale and tells the story of the Ottoman Empire’s Armenian genocide at the end of World War I. Cornell was a fierce advocate for those affected by the current refugee crisis, and since The Promise’s release this year, he traveled the world promoting the film and did work with his Chris & Vicky Cornell Foundation.
