Axl Rose issues statement

It was recently reported that Guns N’ Roses and their frontman Axl Rose had difficulty performing overseas recently at a show in London, England. It was noted that the reason for this was because Rose’s voice allegedly gave out.

On Thursday, July 7, the singer tweeted out the following statement: “I’d like to thank everyone 4 their well wishes! It’s greatly appreciated! We apologize 4 the inconvenience of postponing Glasgow. I’ve been following Dr’s orders, getting rest, working w/a vocal coach n’ sorting out r sound issues. Seems good so far. Thanks again 4 everyone’s concern! At the end of the day it’s about giving u the fans the best of rselves n’ the best time we can give u n’ that’s all I, the band n’ crew r focused on. See u in Munich!!”

One stadium worker allegedly accused Guns N’ Roses guitarist Richard Fortus of lying about sound issues at a GNR stadium show. He also said Axl slept at the stadium, and had the venue go to IKEA to buy him a bed.

One of the fans noted how Rose sounded ‘awful’ and the band guitarist Richard Fortus opened up on the matter. He confirmed the reason for calling off the show as he responded back to the fan writing:

We were very close to cancelling the shows. Axl was really struggling. He damaged his vocal chords. I’m sorry to hear that you were disappointed. He really didn’t want to cancel.”

The group’s upcoming show in Munich Germany which is scheduled to go take place on Friday, July 8th is as of now officially still taking place. We will have to see if any changes are made. The band’s European tour is set to wrap on July 15 in Hanover, Germany. The band will pick up again in September in South America.
