Legendary Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy Osbourne was recently interviewed on SiriusXM by Billy Morrison bandmate Billy Morrison, and he disclosed an injury he sustained while drinking too much at his home. Ozzy Osbourne made a bold drug demand at a hospital recently.
Osbourne: When I was drinking the sauce all day long I would fall downstairs and Sharon [Osbourne] would go:
“That’s a fucking bruise!”
Morrison: You just said something like, you’re just sitting there with your damage and I’ve got this and the like but we’re sober. Can you imagine when we were drunk?!
Osbourne: I supposed if somebody saw me like that, you’re drunk and you fall you don’t land [inaudible] you just go with it.
Morrison: Yeah maybe. I just know it fucking hurts when you’re sober and you break an arm.
Osbourne: But also I’m on blood thinners now so I’m scared of getting bruised because you can get internal bleeding from fucking blood thinners.
During the same interview, Ozzy Osbourne called out noted drug kingpin, the late Pablo Escobar. Escobar was estimated to be worth $30 billion at one point, and at his Hacienda Napoles home, he had statues of dinosaurs and other animals. He also had a zoo full of elephants, horses, hippos, and giraffes. Escobar was killed in 1993, and the home was seized by Colombian drug enforcement agents.
Escobar was killed in a shootout on December 2, 1993, as he tried to escape the Search Bloc. Hugo Martinez used radio trilateration technology to track Escobar’s radiotelephone transmissions and found that he was in Los Olivos, leading to the deadly shootout. Osbourne mentioned on the show that the fatal gunshot was to the ear.
