Chris Cornell’s mother-in-law Toni Karayiannis wrote the following to a fan on Instagram:
“Your words bring love to all of us, comfort, and sounds like a song of love he wrote for them and used to sing to the three of them at night! His voice was angelic. One day maybe the world will hear it from Toni? I think she might want to share it with you! Her to decide! Dad wrote many songs for them he loved to do that! Was a way to express his love, put them to sleep at night, or when they were up from being jet-lagged. Me, I always had a tear when I heard it! What Toni would do with them she decide! Treasures Chris Cornell left behind! His legacy will go on with his Vicky and his children.”
Karayiannis also recently shared a photo of a quote from Karl Lagerfeld on Instagram.
The quote states, “I know revenge is mean and horrible, but I see no reason why I shouldn’t do something back if somebody has done something bad to me.
When people think it’s all forgotten I pull the chair away – maybe 10 years later.”
She wrote herself, “I always say what I think! And sometimes even what I don’t think! Unfortunately that’s who I am, let’s blame it on my Greek culture! But I don’t lie! And that’s a great thing!”
She wrote in another comment, “If you lie sooner or later you will be exposed! Chris is a #legend #icon. His family is with him and he is with his family! How are you going to face all those you lie to? And…is more to come I understand…Chris’ voice.”
