Rock & Roll Hall of Famer and former Van Halen singer Sammy Hagar has been sporting a bearded look for a long time, but he has decided to alter his looks for the holiday season. He took to his social media account and posted a picture of himself with a shaved look that has stunned his fans. He had previously dropped a Red Hot Chili Peppers tour bombshell.
Here is what his caption read:
“Grow it long, shave it off! It’s been a long time but the beard had to go for the holidays. Started looking too much like #santaclaus now I know what’s under there”

Sammy Hagar launches rum cocktails
Sammy Hagar and his band The Circle made their return to Texas with a setlist of classic hits and Hagar launched his new sparkling rum cocktails. The four-city tour is dubbed “A Toast to Texas” and coincides with the debut of Sammy’s Beach Bar Cocktail Co. The tour spans the state where Hager’s father and wife are from. Sammy Hagar & The Circle played Fort Worth and San Antonio over the weekend.
San Antonio was the band’s second stop on their “A Toast to Texas” tour, promoting Hagar’s new sparkling rum. On Saturday, Sammy Hagar & The Circle performed at the Aztec Theatre. There the rock star discussed “Sammy’s Beach bar Cocktail Company” and why he likes San Antonio:
It’s really an unusual Texas city. It’s really got its own vibe. It’s very authentic to me. It’s beautiful, the Riverwalk and everything. The way it’s been, the way it has grown, the way it has gotten away from the big city thing. It kind of carved his own little thing out
The new sparkling rum cocktails are made with Hagar’s beach bar rum. Right now, they’re available in Texas. They include tangerine dream, pineapple splash, island pop, and cherry cola chill.
