As the Slipknot drama over percussionist Chris Fehn’s lawsuit against the band and possible departure continues to swirl, Shawn ‘Clown’ Crahan had liked a very Instagram comment by a fan about the bombshell accusations against himself and Corey Taylor.

leemcabee wrote in a comment that Clown liked, “All y’all screaming ‘we want Chris or no Chris no Slipknot’ stfu. It’s dumb as hell. Chris made a very private situation a very public situation while throwing the band under the bus. Namely Corey and Clown. I love Chris, but that’s bullshit. You want to stir the shit pot and trash your bandmates then you don’t need to be in the band any longer. Many bands have resolved issues without going public and making a scene. That’s how grown ups handle shit.”

While Corey Taylor and his Slipknot bandmates released a dramatic statement announcing the firing of percussionist Chris Fehn last week, Fehn’s lawer Joseph Dunne tells the Des Moines Register there has been no official change in Fehn’s employment with the band. If it was up to Fehn, he would remain a member, his lawyer said.

“He thought everyone was being treated equally,” Dunne told the Des Moines Register, saying there was tension between Fehn and other band members who appeared to operate the business. “My client really is just hoping to figure out a way to work this out with the people he’s worked side by side with for the last 20 years.”

Slipknot previously announced, “Slipknot’s focus is on making album #6, and our upcoming shows around the world, our best ever. Chris knows why he is no longer a part of Slipknot. We are disappointed that he chose to point fingers and manufacture claims, rather than doing what was necessary to continue to be a part of Slipknot. We would have preferred he not take the path that he has, but evolution in all things is a necessary part of this life. Long Live The Knot.”

Corey Taylor previously tweeted, “You think that’s dickish, try being wrongfully accused of stealing money from someone you cared about, and having a lot of your fans believe it. Good Morning, by the way.”

Chris Fehn’s full 15-page lawsuit against former Slipknot bandmates Corey Taylor and Michael ‘Clown’ Crahan has been uploaded online. Taylor has denied the allegations against him, telling a fan on Twitter, “You think that’s dickish, try being wrongfully accused of stealing money from someone you cared about, and having a lot of your fans believe it. Good Morning, by the way.”
