Tool Concert Leads To British Fans Booing

A nice piece of lighthearted, cultural ribbing took place at a recent Tool show as the group played not too long ago in England. During the set, lead singer Manyard James Kennan stated the band was off to France next’ which led to immense levels of booing. It should be noted that politically speaking, France and Britain have been allies and have officially been on good terms since the Entente cordiale was signed in 1904. The two countries were, in addition, founding members of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) defense alliance.

In any event, much like Hank Scorpio asked Homer Simpson ‘what country do you prefer – Italy or France’, this very much seemed to be the same case here and it was hardly anything malicious by the crowd on hand that night. Sadly no video is available at this time. This Tool singer recently posted this humiliating photo of an A-list actress.

During a recent interview with Classic Rock Magazine, group member Adam Jones discussed how his relationship with the band during the early days compares to now. Credit to the outlet for the below.

“We’re real close, and when people are close, you love each other, and then you hate each other. We have that family relationship, and it’s good, it’s really good, it’s probably the best that it has ever been, to be honest. We know each other and it suits us, I like to leave the show early and Danny and Justin like to hang out after and we respect that.

He continued: “They want this and I need that, and we’re just more aware of that these days. Plus, we have good people helping us out as a band; it’s a machine now and it runs well. We hire the best people and we hire the nicest people, we don’t have the sex, drugs, and rock ‘n’ roll thing going on (laughs). It’s a friendly environment, a supportive environment and it’s just great…I hope that answers the question?!”
