Tool guitarist Adam Jones recently posted three Instagram story photos that appeared to be about the band’s new album. First was a photo of a room with art on the wall with the word ‘Soon’ written above it. The second photo is a record player with a rock on hand sign caption, followed by a third photo featuring his guitar pedals in the studio.

Producer Joe Barresi has also shared new photos of Adam Jones gear. He posted photos on Instagram with the caption: ‘Holy mountain of amps.’

Barresi shared another amp photo a week or so ago with the caption: ‘Weapons of mass distortion.’

Jones posted a photo of a strange guitar pedal a few days ago on Instagram. He wrote the caption, “#HellMouth ?????? @abominablepedals.”

Jones also recently posted about his time working on Jurassic Park and Terminator 2, “Thanx for the cool post #MattWinston ~ Repost from @stanwinstonschool ~ Do you know that, Tool’s co-founder Adam Jones was special effects makeup artist? And before starting his career as one of the greatest rock musicians, Adam’s resume includes films like Pet Sematary, Predator 2, Terminator 2 and more. In this behind the scenes from the making of Jurassic Park, Adam sculpts the spitter aka dilophosaurus maquette at Stan Winston Studio.”
