Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love’s daughter Frances Bean Cobain has teased in a new Instagram story video that her debut album could be coming very soon. It’s starting to look like 2019 will be the year of Frances Bean Cobain!

“I can’t wait to show the world what I’ve been working on. Even if it’s not magical to anyone else ever, it’s been so healing and magical for me.”

She wrote that caption on a preview of her new song “Crazy For It (You Think I’m Going Down)”.

The Business Post reported in July that Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love’s daughter Frances Bean Cobain has signed a two-album deal with Columbia Records, and her first album is due soon.

Cobain has been teasing new song ideas all years, most famously a song that appeared to be about her late father that she posted a clip of on April 5th, the 24th anniversary of his death by suicide in 1994.

Frances Bean Cobain discussed going to Ireland to attend the Growing Up Kurt Cobain premiere event in a June Independent interview.

“I think that it was important for all of us three to come to Ireland. This is where our roots are. It’s a very healing place,” she says.

“I’ve been here before and it was super healing for me as a child and I wanted to come and be a part of this experience with them. I don’t know if we could recreate the energy of this specific trip again. The reason that this is so healing is because it’s in Ireland. That’s a huge component of it I believe.”
