Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page revealed what he thought of Suicide Sal in a new Instagram post. You can call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1-800-273-8255.

“#OnThisDay in 1975, the album ‘Suicide Sal’ by Maggie Bell was released. This album was recorded in the studio at Tittenhurst Park, which was John Lennon’s house in Surrey. The house was then in the ownership of Ringo Starr.
⠀⠀
I overdubbed on the track ‘If You Don’t Know’ which had a solo in shades of blue, and a jaunty solo on ‘Coming On Strong’. Maggie Bell was one of the signings to the Swan Song label. I’d always considered it to be a pretty good solo on ‘If You Don’t Know’.”

He also recently posted:

“#OnThisDay in 1968, The Yardbirds played the Anderson Theater in New York and Epic Records hoped to record the show.
⠀⠀
The remastered audio from this performance was released via JimmyPage.com on 5th November 2017, titled Yardbirds ’68. ⠀⠀

In a combined statement, JP, Chris Dreja and Jim McCarty said: ‘we thought this might be lost forever, but we’ve rediscovered it, re-mixed it. It’s of great historical importance. We’re delighted to see the release.'”

He also wrote about a very special birthday of his late friend Ronnie Lane, who died in 1997.

“#OnThisDay, it’s Ronnie Lane’s birthday. God bless you Ronnie! 📸©️Mark Bowman.”
