Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong posted a new video where he shows off the band’s new live at Woodstock 1994 Record Store Day release.

“She’s talking about game of thrones while I’m posting this. #recordstoreday.”

Billie Joe Armstrong recently hinted at a gender swapped ‘American Idiot’ musical.

“So stoked for @cadebecker1 and the cast of American Idiot performing at Chapman college!! Congrats to all of you.. (on a side note I was wondering what it would be like if someone did a production where the men and women switched roles. Johnny be played by a woman? Whatsername be Whatshisface? I like it 🤔)”

Page Six recently reported:

Green Day has collectively co-authored a book titled “Last of the American Girls.” The full-color text, illustrated by cartoonist Frank Caruso, will be released on October 29 via Dey Street Books.

Named after the song “Last of the American Girls” off “21st Century Breakdown,” the book is described as “an inspiring homage and handbook for the rebellious everywoman who refuses to capitulate,” according to a statement from their publisher. No further details are available at this time, but the book is being further billed as a celebration of “true rebel girls,” another song reference to the “American Idiot” track “She’s a Rebel.”
