Freddie Mercury bandmate and Queen guitarist Brian May said he needed Dr. Rock to ‘revive’ him after struggling with a ‘black cloud’ all day. Freddie Mercury’s final words at the last Queen show were detailed over the weekend.

He wrote on social media, “THANKS good people of St. Paul !!! It was such a tonic to play for you – and with you !! Tonight Dr. ROCK worked wonders on me. I had struggled with a black cloud all day – but as soon as those first chords came out of me tonight I felt energised, revived, and reminded that playing guitar is actually what I love to do !!! God Bless Dr Rock !!! And God bless the Twin Cities ! Thanks @tracyannsee for the art pic. 💥💥💥💥 Oh ! Adam points out that his orange @celsiusofficial might have helped too !!! Bri.”

“BIG THANKS to all of you kind folks at the United Arena tonight in CHICAGO. We experimented a little with the set list – and a new shirt for me, courtesy of the fabulous Marley !!! Thanks also to @helenbovill3d , Mary Kate (@murtate44 on Twitter) and @Kaybeetodd also on Twitter for these mementos. Tomorrow (well, today, actually) we journey to St PAUL. No rest for the wicked !!! Are you ready, Minnesotans ?!! Bri.” A Queen member recently revealed the Freddie Mercury classic that he dislikes.
