Black Sabbath performed together for the final time over the weekend in Birmingham, and members of Alice In Chains and Velvet Revolver paid tribute to the rock legends on social media.
Former Velvet Revolver guitarist Dave Kushner wrote, “The first record I ever bought w/ my own money was Sabbath”s Paranoid. Changed my life forever. Thank you @BlackSabbath & @OzzyOsbourne
Alice In Chains bassist Mike Inez wrote, “Congrats to the MIGHTY Black Sabbath on their final show tonight in Birmingham where it all began so long ago. I owe them such an amazing debt for literally changing my life. What an end to a fantastic career. Play your Sabbath albums loud and proud today.”
