During a recent interview with Radio.com, Alice In Chains discussed awkward situations where fans asked them for autographs. Alternative Nation transcribed some funny quotes from Jerry Cantrell, Sean Kinney, and William DuVall.

When asked about the weirdest thing they’d ever signed, Sean Kinney revealed that he had been asked to sign babies.

“The occasional baby. ‘Can you sign my baby?’ You’re like, ‘Go away, no.’”

The band were also asked the weirdest place they’d been asked for autographs. Jerry Cantrell said, “Bathroom.”

William DuVall added, “Anything restroom related is just no. It’s a hard pass.”

Sean Kinney mentioned that the autograph requests in bathrooms were frequent at airports.

“That’s really like a big airport thing, you notice that?”

Alice In Chains released their new album Rainier Fog in August, and are planning to tour in support of the album until late 2019. Rainier Fog is the band’s first new album in 5 years, since 2013’s The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here, and their third album with singer/guitarist William DuVall, who joined the band in 2006 a few years after the death of Layne Staley. Alice In Chains played summer North American tour dates in support of the album, which features the singles “Never Fade” and “The One You Know.”
