Reports have emerged that Blink 182 is set to perform at Lollapalooza Brazil in 2023, likely with Tom DeLonge back. Lollapalooza Brasil 2023 is getting closer and fans are eagerly waiting for the official announcements. The event promises to have “the best line-up in the festival’s history” and it is quite possible that the three headliners have already been decided. Q101 has doubled down and stated that they were blowing Live Nation’s ‘nut’ on an upcoming Blink-182 tour announcement. Fans are speculating that a huge announcement will be made soon.

Amid this, it has come to light that blink182.com domain registration was updated recently which has added to the hype of the band’s reunion with Tom DeLonge. The updated site also has Sony Music Entertainment as label. You can view the teaser photo on the site below.

Blink-182 could have a reunion

Blink- 182 fans have been waiting for a reunion for much longer now. Travis Barker had seemingly teasing a Blink-182 themed reunion. The band, as we were last aware now consists of Matt Skiba, Mark Hoppus, and Travis Barker, but that doesn’t mean that we won’t be seeing a reunion of the original lineup featuring Tom DeLonge.

There have been some small tidbits of easter eggs left for Blink fans like a re-issue of Tom DeLonge’s Fender strat which was made famous in his Blink-182 days. We will have to see if the lineup changes.

Jason Tate recently opened up the Blink-182 tour announcement this month in his last two newsletters. It has been noted that Tom DeLonge is trying to get Turnstile on tour. He also noted that October will be ‘fun’ as fans will witness releases from Taylor Swift, Carly Rae Jepsen, and The 1975. He claimed that the Blink-182 tour announcement will also be made.

One fan noted, “I’m guessing it’s an untitled album 20th anniversary tour with Matt and Tom, but that’s just me.”

Another wrote: “If Tom is coming back I wonder what the band will make for new music, if new music comes out of this. Because as much as I’d want Tom back, I would much rather they give Matt a bigger role instead of Just Guitarist. Matt never really felt like apart of the band, it just felt like they needed a guitarist for tours and a backup singer”

We will have to see what the band has planned for the fans.
