Creed, the band that dominated the late ’90s and early 2000s rock radio, made a thunderous return, not just to the stage, but to the top of the charts in an entirely new way.

In the late ’90s, Creed quickly became one of the biggest rock bands of their time. Their albums sold tens of millions of copies, and their emotional, anthemic sound struck a chord with fans around the world.

But as the years went on, tensions in the band and shifts in the rock scene saw Creed fade from the spotlight. After their initial breakup in 2004, fans thought the door had closed for good. Little did they know, Creed’s story wasn’t over—it was just waiting for the right moment to make a comeback.

Fast-forward to 2024, after years of speculation and smaller solo projects, Creed announced a reunion tour that sent shockwaves through the music world. This year, Creed shattered all expectations and grossed an unbelievable $64.8 million, selling 825,000 tickets across 55 electrifying shows. That’s more money than they earned in any other year of their 30-year career.

Their fans had been waiting for years to hear those iconic riffs and Scott Stapp’s incredible voice live again.

In January last year, during an interview on Talkin’ Rock with Meltdown podcast, Stapp said that he was happy with their ticket sales.
