Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl discussed his wife having her appendix burst in a new interview with Jimmy Kimmel.
Kimmel said, “I wanted to ask how your wife is, because I know the night you were here when you were hosting the show for me, she had her appendix [burst].”
Grohl responded, “It’s true, when I got down here and they were putting that David Letterman thing on me I got a text from her: ‘I don’t really feel so good.’ Then I walk offstage after it was done and she’s like, ‘I’m on my way to the hospital to get my appendix out.’ So I look at these guys like, ‘Get this off my face now!’ I ran down there, and got there in time. She’s great.”
Grohl also discussed his new film and song “Play” which documents himself recording every instrument on a new 23-minute song. Watch the full Jimmy Kimmel Live clip below.
