Pearl Jam recently wrapped up their 2018 tour, and we reported a couple of days ago that Eddie Vedder made his first public appearance since coming home at a WNBA finals game in Seattle with his daughter. Mark Fischel wrote on Instagram, “Very fortunate to meet Eddie Vedder and his daughter tonight. Introduced them to the WNBA Championship Trophy. #wnba #pearljam #wnbaFinals #seattle.”
The WNBA have uploaded a new video of Vedder and his daughter Olivia go into the locker room of the Seattle Storm after the game.
Vedder told the team, “That was the most exciting last ten minutes of basketball since like back with the Bulls, Jordan and Pippen. That was so exciting.” Storm player Sue Bird hugged Vedder as he left. She said, “I was sad I missed the [Pearl Jam Safeco Field] shows though. I wasn’t in town, it was a bummer.” Vedder responded, “Well, you’re working.”
