Pearl Jam’s Eddie Vedder‘s third solo album Earthling is set to be released for Seattle Surf via Republic Records on February 11, 2022 on all digital platforms as well as on CD. The vinyl version will come out April 29. The release date of deluxe CD and cassette versions haven’t been announced. The pre-order of Earthling is currently available on pearljam.com.

Vedder’s new album is produced by Andrew Watt and features several special guests such as Josh Klinghoffer, Glen Hansard, Pino Palladino, Chad Smith, Benmont Tench, Andrew Watt, Taylor Hawkins and other musicians. Elton John and The Beatles’Ringo Starr are also rumored to be present in Earthling, PearlJamOnline reports. Eddie Vedder was recently spotted partying with his wife on New Year.

Andrew Watt opens up on Eddie Vedder

Justin Bieber record producer Andrew Watt recently spoke about Pearl Jam’s Eddie Vedder with Billboard. He recalled growing up listening to the songs of Pearl Jam and Red Hot Chilli Peppers. He revealed about a collaboration between Eddie Vedder and Red Hot Chilli Peppers’ current and former members, the Earthlings, and finishing their 2022 record.

Watt stated that he “had the most amazing experience.” He spoke about knowing Vedder for ten long years and started making music. While Red Hot Chilli Peppers’ Chad Smith and former member Josh Klinghoffer. He revealed having a great time with them and stated that the mixes are being finished up and he is excited about the project.

“I’ve known Ed for about 10 years, and we kept in touch and started making music together, and Chad and Josh from the Peppers were very involved. We just had a ball together, laughing and hanging out, popping beers and making the kind of music that we all love. I’m so excited for everyone to hear it. We’re just finishing up the mixes and stuff, and I’m just really excited. I don’t want to say too much besides, just to hear his voice in front of me, and get to play guitar and bass under that? It’s like a celebration.”
