Eddie Vedder’s Wife Calls Big Name Republican ‘Satan’

Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder’s wife Jill posted a photo of NRA CEO and Executive Vice President Wayne LaPierre speaking at the Conservative Political Action Conference, which is an annual gathering of Republicans. She wrote, “This guy is Satan … unbelievable what’s coming out his mouth right now … 😡”

She also posted a quote from David Bowie’s “Changes” with the caption ‘genius.’

And these children that you spit on.
As they try to change their worlds.
Are immune to your consultations.
They’re quite aware of what they’re going through.

Jill Vedder also recently wrote on Instagram, “For too long, too many politicians have been bought by the NRA … time to #ThrowThemOut #emmagonzalez #brave #everytown.”

“#johnmccain #richardburr #royblunt #thomtillis #corygardner #marcorubio #joniernst #robportman #toddyoung #billcassidy #joemanchin #patrickleahy #donaldtrump You all have blood on your hands #disgrace #ThrowThemOut #senate #everytown #momsdemandaction.”

Pearl Jam have tweeted an image promoting the March For Our Lives. The March For Our Lives website states:

“On March 24, the kids and families of March For Our Lives will take to the streets of Washington DC to demand that their lives and safety become a priority and that we end gun violence and mass shootings in our schools today.

March with us in Washington DC or march in your own community. On March 24, the collective voices of the March For Our Lives movement will be heard.”

As an outsider looking in, could someone tell me why the NRA has such power and influence?
They aren’t elected members of even a Town Council or any such body that would be a valid voice of the democracy at work in the U.S. I really don’t understand.

I don’t understand how someone can be this much of a fucking idiot. This chick is against Trump, yet she wants the government to essentially ban guns, putting Trump’s Presidency in essentially unstoppable power. Get consistent, and quit ruining Bowie.

leftists/liberals/Democrats are mentally ill….we know this…..and Eddie Vedder claims to be an atheist but his wife apparently believes in Satan….lol….
I’ll keep my 2nd Amendment rights thank you…
man I used to idolize Eddie Vedder….that’s been over for a long time….
      & I’m NOT a Republican

I use to be one of PJ’s biggest fans. My husband gave me Vitalogy when we were dating. I think Mrs. Jill Vedder has made Eddie worse since they’ve married. He rants and shouts childish expletives at his concerts, and she comes across as an intolerant idiot. I asked her a question on her Instagram account and she blocked me. Apparently she doesn’t want to hear other points of view, nor back her claims which are erroneous. I never knew she was a model, certainly not on the level of beauties like Daniela Pestova, Cindy Crawford, or Paulina Porizkova.

I too was a huge fan in my 20’s….followed them to many cities far away from home….but I’m an adult now….liberalism is based on lies and those who espouse its beliefs are childish fools….but Eddie still has that great voice & I still pay attention to what PJ is up to….you’re right Jill is a typical Democrat who won’t even listen to other perspectives

Pretty big jump of faith to think you need a gun to protect yourself from Trump with guns. We have a very solid method of removing tyrants that are very well and mature, and luckily unused thus far.

Worst case is 4 years of this mess. However we have many, many options that do not require violence. The mentally ill that have tried assissinating politicians think the way you come across to at least me.

The Bowie reference is quite clever usage of the way that the victims (living) are properly trying to make change. I have a pretty good feeling Bowie would be more than happy about being associated with it.

Here in Paranoid America everyone thinks they need guns to protect themselves. Most citizens who own guns will never have to use one. How and why would we need guns to protect ourselves from the government? If they wanted to piss on our rights (which they already do now) we wouldn’t be able to stop them just because we own guns. They already own all the power and there’s nothing you or I can do about it. I’m honestly confused by what you’re saying.

I’m aware that there would be a black market for guns even if they were banned. I realize that some criminals could still get them. But we should at least try to do SOMETHING about them. The government won’t even legalize drugs that have promising medicinal values.. There are so many areas of life where they tell us what we can or can’t do, that is just an example. Most of these prohibited lifestyle choices don’t even hurt other people. And yet all of these right-wing people get bent out of shape that people are pleading for some new sort of regulations on guns (which are more dangerous than anything.. Hell, fireworks are more regulated than guns!). Maybe Jill is suggesting a complete ban but most people just want them to be a bit more strict with how they’re given out. It won’t eliminate the problem but it’d be nice to prevent some future catastrophes. Some of the people I’ve met that I know probably own guns.. I’ll tell you, it’s disturbing how freely they’re given out.

I had no intentions of making this comment so long, my apologies.
