Eminem Threatens Real Housewives Star After Ripoff

Will the real Slim Shady please standup. That might be what Eminem, who is now 50 years of age, said to one of the real housewives stars recently. Eminem is actually go so far as to file a trademark opposition application against Real Housewives stars Gizelle Bryant and Robyn Dixon for their Reasonably Shady podcast.

As per The Daily Mail, the now 50-year-old rapper, Eminem (legally known as Marshall Mathers) filed the opposition on February 14 (Valentine’s Day) of the year of our Lord, 2023, according to Page Six, claiming in the documents that his brand would be ‘damaged’ if the trademark was granted.

He also claimed the trademark for the podcast might, ’cause confusion in the minds of consumers.’

Eminem who is developing a television series based on his hit 2002 movie 8 Mile with 50 Cent –  has owned the trademark for ‘Shady’ to be used on merchandise, and he has exclusively used either Slim Shady or for entertainment services since the year of our Lord, 1998 – some 25 years ago. That is shocking.

Bryant, who is now 52, and Dixon, who is now 43, who have both stared on Bravo’s Real Housewives of Potomac since it debuted in 2016, filed the trademark weeks earlier with the intent of selling merchandise under the podcast name.
