Ex-Five Finger Death Punch guitarist Jason Hook is claiming that he was told Ace Frehley has died, though he has not provided any evidence.

Hook wrote, “My heart is broken. I just received a message saying my hero Ace Frehley has died. I love you brother… thank you for the decades of great music. You were an inspiration to millions… see you on the other side. – JH 😭♠️♥️”

Frehley’s camp told us two hours ago that Frehley was alive, after rumors in the media.

While Ace Frehley has been in the news today for tragic reason, Gene Simmons also recently had health issues.

Gene Simmons was rushed to the hospital last week after allegedly experiencing a medical emergency that caused him to crash into a parked car in Malibu, CA. According to NBC4 Los Angeles, Simmons told first responders that he lost consciousness before hitting the vehicle.

The KISS bassist later opened up about the incident on Twitter/X, assuring fans that he is “fine.”

“Thanks, everybody, for the kind wishes. I’m completely fine. I had a slight fender bender. It happens. Especially to those of us were horrible drivers. And that’s me. All is well,” he wrote.

Now, Simmons’ bandmate Paul Stanley is speaking out about the accident, sharing with TMZ that he is relieved Simmons wasn’t seriously injured.

“It’s a miracle Gene didn’t get hurt,” Stanley told the outlet when asked how Simmons is doing. “He could’ve gotten killed. It was scary for me.”

“But he’s great,” he added. “He’s at 100%. All good. He’s in great spirits. We got blessed lives.”

In a statement to NBC4 Los Angeles shortly after the crash, Simmons’ wife Shannon Tweed suggested that his accident may have been caused by a recent change in his medication and dehydration.
