Foo Fighters and Dave Chappelle covered Radiohead’s “Creep” at Madison Square Garden in New York last night.
HendrickRocks2488 posted about the show on the Foo Fighters Reddit, “Was anyone else kinda miffed about the poster situation last night? This seems so moot now especially because they played Aurora at a show I went to finally, but those posters disappeared fast. Too fast. I was able to find someone in the 100s section after finding out they were sold out elsewhere, but everyone in front of me decided to buy 3 each and they were gone right before I was able to get them. One woman on the other side had a stack of them.
I don’t care what anyone says, that was greedy as hell. Some are already up on eBay for between 199 and 450 depending on the version, and all this does is alienate the people who actually wanted it as a constant reminder on their wall of an amazing show they went to.”
Drummer In NYC responded, “Totally feel that. Spoke to one of the MSG merch people and they said it was the Foo Fighters management who decided on letting there be a 4 poster per poster per person max last night, not including the foil. Just a shame that not more posters were printed, especially considering they weren’t hand numbered so I don’t get the shortage, especially when they could’ve thrown the excess up on their merch page.”
