Matt Cameron spoke for the first time on rumors of Pearl Jam finally rescheduling their 2020 ‘Gigaton’ North American tour in a new Seattle Today Podcast interview.
PJLucaina recapped on the Soundgarden Reddit, “He’s asked about future touring around the hour and 21 minute mark. Unfortunately, no updates on the postponed tour. He basically says that PJ has been having conversations with management and management has been talking with Live Nation and so on – sounds like nothing concrete, things are in the process of happening. He mentions some shows/festivals in September, specifically Ohana Fest – first time for him. I don’t think he mentioned it, but the other one that they are confirmed for is Sea.Hear.Now in NJ.
In the Sarah Hagan Backstage podcast, he said that promoters are trying to figure out how it’s going to work with the indoor concerts and that PJ is excited about starting to rehearse for the September shows.”
Pearl Jam will headline the Ohana Festival in Dana Point, CA in September, and they’ll also perform at the Sea.Hear.Now. Festival with The Smashing Pumpkins in New Jersey.
