Frances Bean Cobain and Lily Cornell-Silver seem to be very friendly. Frances’ father, Kurt Cobain and mother, Courtney Love never seemed to have any harsh feelings towards Lily’s father, Chris Cornell as they did with many other stars within the Alternative scene back in the 1990’s.

Kurt Cobain was actually said to be a fan of Soundgarden’s work and has been seen on occasion singing Soundgarden lyrics in home videos. This respect has now been handed down to their daughters, as Frances and Lily have a mutual respect for one another, which shows in a very great manner.

Frances put up a post on her Instagram which featured photos of her late father, Kurt Cobain, as Frances looked back on the time away that she had spent from social media. Frances is a huge advocate for taking social media breaks, and has done well by that as she feels recharged, and refreshed from scrolling through her feed and being hounded by online entities.

Frances stated on the post: “I took a year long break from posting on Instagram which was exceptionally good for my emotional and spiritual health. 2021 brought me more into the present moment than I’ve ever been, which I’m deeply grateful for. I wanted to share a few moments that were captured and created this past year that brought me a great amount of joy. Here’s to hoping everyone’s 2022 is filled with authentic connections, a lot of warmth and profound discovery of self happy new year”

With this post striking a chord with many, Lily Cornell-Silver commented on the post a very heartwarming comment which said “Your happy makes me happy.”

Frances then commented back to Lily stating: “You have the most beautiful heart sweet Lily.”

The post itself and the comments that were on the post have racked up a lot of likes and additional comments that showcase how kind Frances and Lilly are as people as they are carving out their own names in the world.

Frances has been seen doing some musical pieces here and there, and Lily also seems to have her own music career, performing with friends and even joining Alice In Chains onstage to perform Black Gives Way To Blue with Chris Degarmo in 2020.
