Howard Stern reportedly hires interrogator to find mole

Howard Stern was back on air this week and addressed the rumors about his possible departure from SiriusXM after the expiration of his concert at the end of the year. There were several recent leaks, including an email Stern sent personally to staff.

Now there are reports that Stern is using a former air force member to find out who on his staff is leaking, and that he will fire the culprit. Stern has hired, Memet Walker, a former U.S Air Force Airman trained in interrogation tactics, per the Daily Mail. Gary ‘Baba Booey’ Dell’Abate voiced concerns about recently leaks.

Howard Stern returned with James Gunn

Despite the leaks, Stern has an exciting first week back on air after a hiatus, including an interview with James Gunn.

James Gunn recently fulfilled a dream, calling his appearance on The Howard Stern Show “one of the greatest days of my life.”

The interview with Stern covered many aspects of his career, including Superman, Peacemaker, the Guardians of the Galaxy movies, and his role as the co-head of DC Studios. It’s a fun, informative segment—well worth tuning in if you have SiriusXM access—but the most newsworthy nugget came during a brief discussion of Superman follow-up Man of Tomorrow.

On September 3rd, Gunn announced the film “Man of Tomorrow,” accompanied by artwork featuring Superman and Lex Luthor. Stars David Corenswet and Nicholas Hoult also shared artwork showcasing their respective characters. This confirmed that Superman and Lex would be reuniting, despite the earlier specification that this project would not be called “Superman 2.”

To Stern, Gunn did call it “the Superman sequel,” noting, “We’re starting to shoot in April or so.”

He also said, “We released the fact that we’re coming out with Man of Tomorrow last week; it’s going to be out in two years in theaters, on July 9th of 2027, which is relatively a short time between sequels because we knew immediately where we were going. And it is a story about Lex Luthor and Superman having to work together to a certain degree against a much, much bigger threat. And it’s more complicated than that, but that’s a big part of it. It’s as much a Lex movie as it is a Superman movie.”

“I loved working with Nick Hoult, who played Lex; I relate to the character of Lex Luthor, sadly, so I really wanted to create something extraordinary with the two of them. Oh man, I just love the script so much; I’m excited for people to see the movie.”

He also toucheed on 2026’s Supergirl (“We’re editing it right now … The movie is coming out fantastic. Milly Alcock, who plays Supergirl, might be the best bit of casting I think I’ve ever done in my entire life. I think she’s absolutely stunning in the movie”) and Clayface (a hard-core, R-rated body horror film”), among other current and upcoming projects.
