Beth Stern Opens Up on Howard’s New SiriusXM Deal
Beth Stern has offered fresh details about husband Howard Stern’s renewed SiriusXM contract, saying the radio host is “very happy” with the arrangement and that his updated schedule is suiting him amid lingering public scrutiny following recent workplace allegations from a former employee.
Appearing on SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live, Beth said Howard’s “new schedule is working out really well,” and suggested she played an “very influential” role in the negotiations, Page Six reported.
She also said she encourages him to keep doing the show because he still enjoys it and it keeps him connected, describing the programme as an outlet for his thoughts. Howard previously told listeners he had signed a new deal to continue The Howard Stern Show for three more years, saying he’d found a way to balance “more free time” with staying on the air and that the contract offered more flexibility.
The comments come after Howard and Beth were sued in April by former executive assistant Ms. Leslie Kuhn, who accused them of creating a hostile work environment connected to responsibilities that included managing their Hamptons home and assisting with Beth’s feline rescue and fostering work. Howard has since moved to dismiss the lawsuit, which seeks $2.5 million in damages.
The renewed contract and schedule changes have also drawn interest from listeners after periods when Stern’s show presence sparked questions about time away from the microphone, even as SiriusXM continues to carry the long-running programme.
What happens next will largely depend on the legal process around Kuhn’s claims and whether any further filings or public statements emerge from either side while Stern remains on the air under the new deal.
