JACK OSBOURNE Thinks Celebrities Should “STFU” About Politics.

On Friday (May 15), Jack and Sharon Osbourne visited Capitol Hill after Indiana Rep. Victoria Spartz entered Ozzy Osbourne’s biography into the Congressional Record.

While in Washington, D.C., TMZ caught up with them to ask where they stand on celebrities sharing their political opinions.

Asked whether they consider themselves “political,” Jack made it clear he believes celebrities and politics shouldn’t mix.

“You know what? I think celebrities just need to keep their mouths shut,” he told TMZ. “Make entertainment, entertain the people, shut the f*ck up.”

When asked whether public figures have a responsibility to use their platforms to “change hearts and minds,” Jack doubled down. “Then be a politician, don’t be an entertainer.”

Sharon, however, appears to have other ideas.

When TMZ asked whether either of them would ever run for office, Jack quickly answered “no,” while Sharon silently raised her hand.

This comes after she hinted earlier this year that she may consider running for Mayor of Birmingham, England.
As for Ozzy’s biography being entered into the Congressional Record, Sharon called it “a great honor for him.”

“If anything, it made us miss him,” Jack added. “He would have loved it. He would have been truly honored to be a part of this today.”
