Jessica Simpson recently gave her Instagram followers a treat after a fashion flashback. She posed in the varsity jacket that she last wore as a 13-year-old cheerleader.
“Found my 8th grade head cheerleader letter jacket,” the “With You” singer, 42, captioned the selfie, which shows her smiling from ear to ear in the green-and-yellow outerwear embroidered with her name.
The former teen idol paired the sporty style with diamond hoop earrings, an orange beanie and a bare face.
“Yes! Go Vikings! 😂,” her younger sister, Ashlee Simpson, cheered in the comments.
Sharon Stone encouraged the “Open Book” author with a “U go girl,” and Paris Hilton dropped a heart-eyed emoji.
Simpson also recently posted a stunning picture on Instagram on Friday morning.
The former reality TV star lost 100lbs after welcoming her third child – daughter Birdie Mae – with husband Eric Johnson. Three years have passed since that. She was modeling clothes from her very successful Jessica Simpson Collection. In September, Simpson addressed her 100lb weight loss, which she lost in 2019 after having her three children; Maxwell, Ace and Birdie.
The star revealed to Extra’s Terri Seymour that what really helped her slim down was changing her menu.
”I went to a nutritionist, and I needed to get my eating habits right,” she said. When asked if she feels ‘healthy,’ she said: ”I absolutely feel healthy.”
