The official Twitter account for late The Beatles icon John Lennon posted recently, “I Want You (She’s So Heavy)” – the remastered 2009 version which is available on Spotify with the following message about his widow, Yoko Ono. John Lennon’s son recently unloaded on disturbing murder photos:
‘That’s me, about Yoko. Simplicity is evident in ‘She So Heavy.’ We used a Moog synthesizer on the end. That machine can do all sounds and all ranges of sound.’
Fan reactions can be viewed below. rajeevkashikar said, “I want you ( she’s so heavy ) .. what a brilliant song particularly harrison’s guitar work and the duel between john lennon and george harrison ! one of the best ever from The Beatles.”
King Mantis wrote, “One of the best Beatles tracks. Ahead of it’s time & probably one of their most under-rated.”
Betty Flores chimed in, “I fucking ❤️ this song! The multilevel guitars, the timing changes, John’s bluesy vocals. Eight minutes of erotic, soulful bliss. Just get lost in it.” Lennon writing a ‘freak’ letter to killers and wounded veterans was recently revealed.
In other The Beatles news, fans on the Paul McCartney fan forum – Maccaboard were recently discussing the relationship that Paul and John had and how close the two actually were:
SusyLuvsPaul wrote, “They were very good friends, even could be described as “best friends” during the height of Beatlemania, but one wonders why they didn’t go on holidays or vacations together. Paul and Jane went off with Ringo and Maureen, while the Lennons vacationed with Pattie and George.”
Maccaroni1974 posted, “They couldn’t stand one another at the end. John told him not to show up at his doorstep anymore. That says it all.” John Lennon called a surprising The Beatles song ‘junk’ before his death.
