Late The Beatles icon John Lennon revealed how it was offensive that he was being presented ‘girls’ and ‘goodies’ like a king in newly resurfaced quotes on his social media account. Lennon was never known as a big groupies guy, and once he was married to Yoko Ono, she was his true love. Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler revealed what he did to John Lennon’s widow recently.

Lennon said, “It’s pretty hard when you are Caesar and everyone is saying how wonderful you are and they are giving you all the goodies and the girls, it’s pretty hard to break out of that, to say ‘Well, I don’t want to be king, I want to be real.”

A John Lennon smoking video recently surfaced. Lennon also discussed how it was very difficult to pigeonhole the type of music he made with Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr in The Beatles. Lennon said about some classic Beatles songs, “There is not one thing that’s Beatle music. How can they talk about it like that? What is Beatle music? Walrus or Penny Lane? Which? It’s too diverse: I Want to Hold Your Hand or Revolution Number Nine?”

He also revealed his songwriting process, “Sometimes I’ll write lyrics to a song first and then I get the feeling or a poem and then write the music to it after. So then it’s a poem, sung. Sometimes the tune comes and then you just put suitable words to fit the tune.” A John Lennon affair was recently detailed.
