Anthony Bourdain, the host of CNN’s Parts Unknown, is good friends with Queens of the Stone Age frontman Josh Homme, Homme even worked on the Parts Unknown theme song, but Bourdain seems pissed at his friend following video surfacing of Homme kicking female photographer Chelsea Lauren on Saturday in Los Angeles.
Bourdain tweeted, “Waking up in Bhutan to the Josh Homme @QOTSA shit and still in the WTF!!!??!! Phase. Senseless. And a weak ass apology.”
“..and Monday, I’m afraid, isn’t going to get any better .”
“No. Trust me. Monday is really gonna suck .”
“It’s where you stand when the people you care about and admire do awful things that matters. Keeping head down and hoping it goes away? No.”
Lauren wrote back to Bourdain, “thank you Anthony. You’ve already been good to me in any of our encounters.”
Homme’s weak ass apology referenced by Bourdain stated: “Last night, while in a state of being lost in performance, I kicked over various lighting and equipment on our stage. Today it was brought to my attention that this included a camera held by photographer Chelsea Lauren. I did not mean for that to happen and I am very sorry. I would never intentionally cause harm to anyone working at or attending one of our shows and I hope Chelsea will accept my sincere apology.”
Alexander Williams from the band All Time Low wrote to Lauren, “Hey, sending well wishes your way! Hope you’re alright.”
Lauren wrote back, “Thank you doll. <3" Lauren also thanked the QOTSA fanbase. "Thank you to the #QOTSA fanbase for being a solid group of people overall and standing up for what's right regardless of your fandom. It is not falling on deaf ears and I really appreciate every message. ❤️ Seriously, thank you."

Even if it was an accident, I still feel terrible! I'm a huge QOTSA fan, a huge Josh Homme fan, I just saw the video, I feel bad for the photographer.
