Korn Reveal ‘Angel of Death’ That’s Killing Faith No More Singer & Other Musicians: ’Talk To God’

Korn’s Brian ‘Head’ Welch posted the following on Instagram regarding former Faith No More singer Chuck Mosley’s death:

I remember living in a tiny apartment in Burbank California living with most of the guys who would later form Korn. They were in their funk rock band called LAPD. I was just hanging out drinking beer trying to figure out life. They were so into the Red Hot Chilli Peppers and Faith No More, and I wanted nothing to do with those bands. Little did I know that Faith No More would grow on me so much that it changed my whole outlook of what metal could sound like.

I remember Fieldy waking the whole house up every single day singing the background vocals for the song “We Care A lot” by Faith No More. Every morning he would scream “whoa whoa uh oh!” Drove us all crazy but looking back now it’s a funny memory. Faith No More with Chuck Mosley were a huge part of our everyday lives back then.

Guys, we need to learn from all this. We are losing too many people to the disease of addiction. It’s a plague that’s sending the angel of death to wipe so many of our people out and it’s got to stop! Please, get help with whatever you’re struggling with. Initiate conversations with the Lord everyday. Religious people make prayer out to be some holier than thou thing, but all it is, is talking to God like a friend. Face-to face. Heart-to heart.

RIP Chuck Mosley, I’m so grateful that you and your family came to see us a couple months ago at our show 🙏🏼

Prayers won’t help drug abuse. God is great at helping with touchdowns and winning music awards. And sometimes finding keys. Not keeping people from dying.

How do you know? Different people respond to different things. Perhaps prayer or some sort of spiritual awakening of an individual can help them escape drug abuse. Alot of folks who abuse drugs have no moral center – they have lost it as they only answer to whichever vice plagues them.

It’s also funny how as a society getting father and farther from religion we see it going down the shitter at an accelerated pace.

I am not an overtly religious person but atheists/folks who go out of their way to disparage religion and God just set me off.

I think each person deals with things in their own way.

I have my own issues with religion (which I won’t get into).

And trust me, when you hear someone tell you that your dad dying was a part of God’s plan, that’s the last thing that you want to hear.

So religion just doesn’t work for some people.

“It’s also funny how as a society getting father and farther from religion we see it going down the shitter at an accelerated pace.”

It is quite the opposite. If you are Atheist statistically you are less likely to:
        -Get divorced
        -Have a pregnant teenager
        -Beat my child

        More likely to:
        -Be financially secure
        -Be more educated

Look at all the terrorist attacks. Most recent ones dealing with religion.
Wars caused by religion. Look at the sexual abuse in the Catholic churches. An intelligent person does not need the promise of heaven to see the merit in good deeds. I do not have to believe in God to have morals. Remember, we are all born Atheist.

Religion is an outdated joke. Every time I hear people trying to pray away the issues in our world I have to remind myself what year it is..

        True dat.

You can also put the word depression into your statement, Brian.
