Kurt Cobain‘s widow Courtney Love performed with Elton John at London’s Old Vic Theatre in February 2003, and she has now admitted in a social media post that she was ‘sort of’ arrested flying to the show. Courtney Love revealed a photo of Metallica singer James Hetfield and alcohol yesterday.

“I had to post this. And it’s back story! I had trouble with virgin airways that morning.. I was sort of arrested..then not arrested..then to Old Vic..”

She added, “Elton .. beyond a treasure. A god, anyway, I wished aloud that I could wear Elton’s amazing Central Park Donald Duck suit to sing ‘the bitch is back’ in..and Presto! That thing was MANIFESTED! But to me even crazier!? Was to have been raised on radio, and to have been asked to sing, also, ‘don’t let the sun go down on me’ with pretty much EJ’ss old school caribou band. Jesus! What an honor!”

Kurt Cobain’s widow leaked a painful Chester Bennington recording a couple of days ago. margiecarrell commented, “Elton knows what it’s like to be hated by his own mother…narcissistic abuse. Of course he’s nothing but love and kindness. Love him!!” Courtney replied with a heart emoji.

MTV reported at the time that Love was arrested for a ‘disturbance’ on a flight from Los Angeles to England. MTV also said, “The former leader of Hole ended a star-studded benefit performance to raise funds for London’s historic Old Vic Theatre by coming onstage dressed as Donald Duck, then stripping down to fishnets and underwear while she sang Elton John’s ‘Bitch Is Back’ with John on piano.

Elton was known to rock a similar duck suit when performing back in the ’70s.” Courtney Love is rumored to be working on a Hole reunion with Melissa auf der Maur and Patty Schemel, though Eric Erlandson was absent at a recent rehearsal. Late Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love’s daughter Frances Bean Cobain rejected a ‘toxic’ man in a new video.
